However, since we know that you already surf the net for your fashion and home needs, there's no reason that beauty can't be part of the mix. Aside from allowing you the luxury of shopping from the comfort of your couch or bed, there's an undeniable convenience factor associated with ordering a moisturizer or mascara with the touch of a button. (Plus, you can still digitally rack up those all-important reward points at places like Sephora or Ulta that offer a loyalty program.) From the best brick-and-mortar shops (with equally good e-commerce) to online-only beauty stores, we've rounded up the best places to shop online for beauty.

Millie Bobby Brown Is Launching Her Own Beauty Brand - Refinery29

Another day, another celebrity launching a beauty brand. Seriously, there must be something in the water. Last week, Ciara reportedly dropped hints that she has a makeup and skin-care company in the works. Then, Selena Gomez filed a trademark for a range of beauty products — including fragrances, cosmetics, body care, skin care, hair care, and nail products — with the focus still TBD.

From Korean ice cream to trendy clothes and beauty products: 5 new stores opening at Ontario Mills - Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

Posted: 20 Aug 2019 04:48 PM PDT

Who said retail is dead?

Not at the Ontario Mills shopping and outlet mall.

The massive retail space is adding five new stores, including Sephora, a well-known beauty brand that will place a West Coast store in an outlet shopping center for the first time. In addition, Reebok, Cole Haan, Charlotte Russe and Somi Somi are opening stores at Ontario Mills by early September.

"We are constantly diversifying and introducing exciting national brands to deliver on Ontario Mills' reputation as a world-class shopping destination," said Marc Smith, general manager at Ontario Mills, in a prepared statement.

Smith said the five new stores target both local shoppers and tourists in what has become known as a retail shopping experience sought out by potential customers.

Many smaller retail outlets used the 105,000-square-foot space that had been occupied by a J.C. Penney Outlet store three years ago, adding to the trend of smaller, brick-and-mortar stores that offer unique products not readily found online.

"What's called brick-and-mortar retail is not going away, but it is going to morph into smaller and more specialized stores that feature the shopping experience where customers can try on or 'test-drive' products," Jay Prag, professor of economics and finance at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, told this newspaper in 2016.

New stores set to open by early September are:

• Sephora: beauty, fragrance products and exclusive brands. The store is at Entry 8 near H&M.

• Reebok Outlet: Shoes, activewear, other clothing and accessories. The store is located near Ulta Beauty.

• Cole Haan Outlet: Dress and casual footwear and accessories. It has opened ahead of schedule, located near H&M.

• Charlotte Russe: Women's fashion retailer trying to make a comeback, offering trendy clothes, shoes and accessories. Located at Entry 5 near Forever 21.

• Somi Somi: A Korean dessert emporium. One of the featured dishes is known as "Ah-Boong," a waffle cone filled with ice cream and toppings. The store will be located near Entry 5 by Forever 21.

7 tried and true beauty products that have been bestsellers for decades - TODAY

Posted: 20 Aug 2019 06:14 AM PDT

Everyone has a couple of beauty products that they will never stop using. For many, those products are cult-favorites — tried and true items that have stood the test of time. TODAY Style editor Emily Sher rounded up a few of her favorites, check them out below.

1. Pond's Cold Cream Makeup Remover and Moisturizer

Created over 150 years ago in 1846, one tub of this two-in-one product is sold every four minutes! It was the first moisturizer ever to not need refrigeration, and is loved by beauty expert Kylie Jenner.

2. Revlon Cherries in the Snow Lipstick

Featured on the Amazon series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," this cherry-red lipstick has been a cult favorite since 1953. Originally created to match Cherries in the Snow nail polish, this lipstick has a mind of its own and has gone on to win an Allure Readers Choice Award. We hear Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, is a fan.

3. Smith's Rosebud Salve

Beloved by Beyonce, Julia Roberts and Winnie Harlow, this multipurpose product has been healing chapped skin, relieving sunburns and healing blemishes for over 100 years. InStyle named this salve the best lip balm in the US in 2018, and one of the original tins is housed in the Smithsonian! People everywhere love the subtle rose scent, so much so that 24 tins are sold every minute.

4. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

The iconic green and pink tube is one every woman knows, but who knew it was designed as an homage to Lily Pulitzer? One tube is sold every three seconds, and it has been an Allure Readers Choice a whopping 18 times. This mascara launched in 1971 and has been an absolute hit ever since.

5. Essie Ballet Slippers Nail Polish

If Queen Elizabeth loves something, you know it has to be good - she has very high standards! This is rumored to be the queen's absolute favorite nail polish, and many other celebrities' too. Jennifer Lopez, Barbra Streisand and Salma Hayek have all been spotted wearing it. 818 bottles of this light pink polish are sold every single day, and it even won the 2018 CEW Iconic Beauty Award.

6. Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Moisturizer

This cult-favorite cream is known for locking in moisture all day, so you don't end up with tight, dry skin during that rough last hour at your desk. The name comes from an Elizabeth Arden client who used the cream on her child's grazed knee, and eight hours later, it was better!

7. Chanel No. 5 Perfume

This cult-favorite scent needs no introduction, the second someone walks in the room wearing it, you know. Loved by women all across the globe, it features hints of may rose, jasmine and bourbon vanilla. Created in 1921, the scent has barely changed, but it has only grown in popularity.

Everything You Need To Know About Sephora's Major Summer Sale - Refinery29

Now, there are a few limitations on what, exactly, your coupon can cover. The offer is not valid on anything from The Ordinary, and you can only use the discount on a maximum of one Dyson-branded item, three Drunk Elephant items, five Morphe items, and three Tatcha items per transaction. As with most sale terms and conditions, the promo is also invalid on any in-store services, previous purchases, and gift cards.

I don't know about you, but I couldn't be happier that summer is coming to an end. Not only is fall my favorite season because it brings with it sweater weather, pretty foliage, and pumpkin-spiced everything, but it's also one of the best seasons to shop (hello, Black Friday and Cyber Monday). We don't have to wait for those shopping holidays to save at our favorite apparel stores though, as the end-of-summer sales happening right now are pretty fantastic in their own right.

Whether you're doing some back-to-school shopping, or simply want to save on summer clearance items while you still can, I recommend you check out the roundup of fashion deals below if you want to find your next wardrobe staple. I'll be updating this post each day with any new can't-miss discounts or promo codes I find, so make sure to check back if you don't want to lose out on some serious style savings. This Tuesday, I've found some amazing sales at stores like Reformation, Dermstore, DSW, and more.

1. Reformation: Save up to 50%

Guys, in my 23 years on this earth, I don't think I've ever seen Reformation have a sale. This is groundbreaking territory. Right now you can save up to 50% on a huge selection of items on their website. They warn you to "shop responsibly" but I honestly don't know if that's possible.

2. Madewell: Save 20% on jeans and 70% summer styles

There's nothing that pleases me more than when Madewell offers a discount on their usually expensive retail. Right now through October 31 (spooky), you can take  20% off Madewell denim with the code WIREDDENIM, as long as you're signed into your Madewell Insider account. They're also offering up to 70% off "high summer picks" for today only.

3. J.Crew: Save 30%

My favorite thing about J.Crew is how they seem to always be offering some spectacular discounts on their high-quality apparel. Today is a great time to stock up for fall essentials like sweaters, jackets and more, because you can take 30% off your entire purchase (plus an extra 15% off if you spend $150+) with the code NEWNOW through August 21.  Also, worth noting you sadly can't use the code at the J.Crew Factory stores or in the store.

4. Anthropologie: Save 30% on sale

Anthropologie's sale section is like a treasure trove of bohemian, ethereal styles that are actually affordable. Right now, you can take an extra 30% off all sale styles. Anthro, keep up the good deals.

I love a good sale on sale, especially at a major department store like Bloomies. Right now through August 25, you can take 20% off items labeled "BLOOMIES". If you happen to have a Bloomingdales credit card, you'll save an even greater 25%.

Following the end-of-summer sales trend, Lord and Taylor is offering 20% off regular and sale items as well as 40% off fall must-haves now with the code FALL. It's never too early for sweater weather, right?

Right now through August 25th, Dermstore is having a 20th Anniversary Event, where you can get up to 25% off on all your beauty favorites with the code CELEBRATE. If you need help shopping this sale, we've made a list of some of our top skincare, hair, and beauty picks.

21. Nasty Gal: Up to 80% off sale

If you've watched Girlboss on Netflix, you may be familiar with Sophia Amoruso, Nasty Gal's former owner who started her business by selling vintage clothing on eBay.
